Shirazi Karahi House is a Pakistani restaurant serving traditional dishes along with sweets and drinks. The staff is very attentive and kind, bringing on a welcoming approach. The restaurant tends to be more crowded during the evening but since we arrived a bit earlier, it was pretty vacant.
This is the iconic South Asian dish, Biryani, which was served to us. It consists of a perfect blend of tasty, spicy rice which comprises unique spicy seasoning, along with juicy tender chicken. It’s not for no reason that it’s one of the most purchased dishes on the menu.

These are the delicious steaming hot kebabs that were served to us. This isn’t just a Pakistani dish, it is also commonly seen and eaten throughout the Middle East along with Southern Asia. These kebabs, combined with the house special chutney (the green sauce) and white sauce, makes for a wonderful experience.

Chicken Karahi and Naan is a traditional Pakistani dish that includes bell pepper, cilantro, garlic, and chicken and is cooked in an unhealthy amount of oil. It’s typically eaten with naan. Although there are more options of naans, we recommend getting plain naan with butter. This combo was a very delightful bomb of flavor, but a bit on the pricier side, especially when eating with a lot of people.

$24.99/lb for Chicken Karahi
$1.99/per Naan
Overall, the experience was pretty good but they do charge an 18% gratuity fee along with taxes, which makes the restaurant expensive. You may want to have the food packed and eat it somewhere else which would remove the gratuity fee, resulting in a lower total price. Including the experience and everything else, we would give the restaurant a 8.5/10.
